We are engaged with the following organizations
in our collaborative efforts:

jpic partner 1Caritas International is an umbrella organization that coordinates all the Catholic Charities around the world in 165 countries. Issues are related to poverty and injustices.  The headquarters of Caritas is in Vatican City. Caritas has representatives at the United Nations in New York and Geneva, Rome, and Paris. http://www.caritas.org.

jpic partner 2Franciscans International (FI) works at the United Nations with other international organizations to influence decision makers on behalf of the most vulnerable. FI represents all three branches of the Franciscan family. http://www.franciscansinternational.org.

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation is a group composed of JPIC persons who have their congregations in Rome. Through working groups (Ecology, Anti-trafficking, Africa JPIC formation, Economic Justice, Catholic Social Teaching, etc) members develop and distribute JPIC resource materials in several languages. Seminars and Forums are offered as opportunities for ongoing formation. Members also network with other organizations that have similar objectives. Work is done in collaboration with the Pontifical Council for “Justice and Peace”, Caritas International, SEDOS, the Antenna AFRICA-EUROPE FAITH AND JUSTICE NETWORK, “Solidarity with South Sudan”, and the UN committee for the Interreligious Decade for Peace. http://www.jpicformation.org. 

jpic partner 4Solidarity with South Sudan - UISG- USG is an organization whose members train teachers, nurses and pastoral personnel in several locations throughout Southern Sudan. This initiative was inspired by the 2004 Rome Congress on Consecrated Life, Passion for Christ Passion for Humanity.From September 21, 2010 to January 1, 2010 there are 101 days of prayer for the upcoming election in Sudan. Our FCJM Congregation is a supporting member of this initiative. http://www.solidarityssudan.org.

Upendo Villageis a project designed by Kenyans to respond at the local level to the needs of Kenyans living with HIV / AIDS. Clients are surrounded with loving care, and are given resources and access to programs that improve health, restore self-respect, and give hope. This is a collaborative project of the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi and the Wheaton Franciscans. http://upendovillage.org.
